AFCAT Eligibility Criteria :

AFCAT Flying Branch Eligibility

  › Candidate should be born between 2nd January 1993 to 1st January 1998. Only They Can Apply.
› Candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at (10+2) with 60% marks. And a Three          years Bachelor’s degree of B.E / B.Tech with 60% marks from a recognized university.
› Eye vision should be, 6/6 for one eye and 6/9 for other eye, and minimum height -5cm.

AFCAT Technical Branch Eligibility

  › Applicants should be born between 2nd January 1992 to 1st January 1998. Only They Can Apply.
› Candidates should have passed Exam A & B of Aeronautical Society Of India, or Associate Membership of              Institution of Engineers(India) with 60% marks or must have 4 years graduation degree.
› For Female candidates minimum height should be 152 cm.

AFCAT Ground Duty Branch Eligibility:

› Applicants should be born between 2nd January 1992 to 1st January 1998. Only They Can Apply.
› For Account Post, Administration and Logistics posts, Education posts – Candidates should be post graduate in        any stream with 50% passing marks.
› For Female candidates minimum height should be 152 cm.

AFCAT Entrance Exam Pattern 2017

  • There will be total 100 Question asked.
  • Multiple type Question will be asked.
  • Exam time duration will be 2 hours.
  • Ever Question will be of 3 Marks.
  • Total marks will be 300.
  • There is one third negative marking, Means for your every wrong answer, one mark will be deduct from your total marks. So here take care and keep patience when you are giving answer on answer sheet.
  • Generally questions asked from current affairs,numerical ability, verbal ability, reasoning, maths, General Awareness and Military Aptitude.

AFCAT Admit Card :

After apply for written examination, you wiil obtain your admit card from the authority website. keep your admit card with one identity proof like DL, Passport, voter Identity Card, College I Card, Pan Card or any other identity proof when you are coming to attend the written Exam. Admit Card will be necessary at the entry time Exam.So bring all the document with you whille you are entering in examination center.

How to Apply AFCAT  Exam 1&2 (Air Force Common Admission Test) 2017

Candidates who are capable to meet eligible criteria set by the Examination Authority. They can apply for AFCAT Entrance Exam 2017 . For online application, applicants are to  follow these below  mentioned steps.

  • Go to Visit the official website IAF(Indian AIR Force) – www.careerairforce.nic.in
  • You will Find a link “Click here to “CANDIDATE LOGIN ” view current openings”
  • After Clicking on the link various posts of comissioned officer in AFCAT will be opened up.
  • You need to click on the link to apply online.
  • Now complete the registration process and copy your registration number.
  • Keep all your documents ready when you apply online, because you will need if necessary.
  • Fill the application form carefully with your all details without any mistake.
  • After that a new page will be open up in the screen with the “Job Description” of the post.
  • Click on “Apply” for filling  Air Force Common Admission Test.
  • Proceed your application process and submit details.
  • Now Take a printout/hard copy for further use.
